London Zoo

THE BRIEF

Introducing a completely reimagined guest photography experience

We are delighted to be official photo partner of London Zoo, one of the top tourist attractions in the UK. Brought in to deliver a guest photography experience aligned with the goals and ideologies of the zoo, we have worked alongside them to deploy the GoPhoto platform. Working closely with ZSL, we designed, built and now operate a modern, digital-first solution that enhances visitor engagement across the Zoo – from everyday visits to flagship events.

The site-wide experience combines professional DSLR photography equipped with both authentic capture and AI background removal technology, alongside a next-generation selfie attraction that transforms visitors into custom “Zoo Keeper” character portraits, quickly becoming a guest favourite. Self-service kiosks provide a fast, intuitive and environmentally conscious purchase journey, allowing guests to preview and buy their photos instantly.

At the centre of the operation is the new Photography Hub in Barclay Court – a bespoke space designed to integrate seamlessly into the Zoo environment while improving guest flow and brand presence.

This partnership establishes a foundation for long-term collaboration, supporting seasonal activations, special events and continued innovation across the Zoo. To date, we are proud to say that we are delivering strong visitor engagement, a smooth guest journey, robust commercial performance and a scalable platform for future growth.
